Lazy Sarplaninac at Paracin Dog Show (Tyson’s Real Character)

It is always a special feeling to bring a dog into the ring that dominates the space just by being there.

Tyson made a great impression at the CAC Paracin Dog Show, where he won the CAC title, repeating the same success he had a month earlier in Jagodina.

Our primary goal was for him to become a Champion of Serbia.

Below, we will cover the events inside and outside the ring, as well as what happened just 12 days after this show.

On the same day, a Specialized Rottweiler Show was also held, organized by the “Parakin” Kennel Club from Paracin.

Tyson – Inside the Ring

To our surprise, international FCI judge Zivojin Stevanovic judged the Sarplaninac breed, even though he was supposed to judge groups I, IV, and IX.

As a kennel, it doesn’t matter to us who is in the ring. We know our dogs (strengths and flaws) and exactly what they can achieve that day.

Mr. Stevanovic was fair and correct, from the initial evaluation to the final BOB ranking.

Tyson earned his CAC and showed the true traits of this breed – dominance, laziness, and fearlessness. However, he had a few extra kilograms and wasn’t in top show condition that day.

12 Days After the Dog Show

Usually, before and after the dog show, we take photos and videos of our dogs in that city.

This time was different because I live in Paracin, and the kennel is in the nearby village of Tresnjevica. We didn’t waste any time searching for locations – we already knew the best spots in our own city.

Twelve days after this dog show, heavy rainfall hit the area and the city was completely flooded.

CAC Paracin Dog Show

The National Dog Show (CAC Paraćin) was held on May 3, 2014, in the park near the Branko Krsmanović monument. With 239 dogs entered, the event was well-organized.

The rings were excellent, and the small white fences gave the whole showground a special look.

It was a great day for the Sarplaninac breed, and the crowd had a chance to see some high-quality dogs in the heart of the city.
